This role is part of the Digital Client Experience & Platforms team that drives and defines the client and advisor experience at Morgan Stanley. As a key member of the Digital team, the Individual Retirement Product Support Specialist will work closely with our US-based team supporting individual retirement account products (including Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA) and Coverdell Education Savings Accounts (CESA)). Your role will be to conduct activities needed to maintain our IRA and CESA products, including maintaining product content, tracking feedback for product enhancements, handling client agreements and forms and managing various support activities on behalf of the Individual Retirement business.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain client agreements and forms, from working with legal counsel on required language to interacting with creative services on final design.
  • Maintain and update internal and external retirement content for branch offices (for e.g., news articles, training) and clients (for e.g., marketing brochures, client letters) in conjunction with the Individual Retirement Product Manager.
  • Move retirement content through firm committees and approval processes.
  • Manage content publication process, including proofreading and working with partner teams to create/format and publish/deliver content.
  • Review and make updates to internal website to ensure all retirement pages are up to date and organized for accessibility.
  • Conduct various product support activities, such as maintaining views of the competitive landscape, collecting and distributing key metrics and creating management reporting using PowerPoint.
  • Support retirement related remediations and run the bank activities, as needed.
  • Support retirement related technology projects, as needed, including potential activities such as working with platform partners on product enhancements and drafting requirements through user stories.
  • Handle escalations of product issues, including working with partners across the organization (for e.g., Legal, Compliance, Risk, Technology, Operations) to reach resolution.
  • Review, respond to and track product enhancement suggestions and feedback from Financial Advisors and other stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, marketing or similar
  • A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in the financial services industry and/or Wealth Management, Project/Product Management or Content Publishing/Management
  • Understanding of the financial services industry; knowledge of wealth management operations and/or branch operations is a plus
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to tailor message to different audiences; must effectively communicate in both business and technical contexts
  • Ability to manage relationships with other teams
  • Ability to manage competing priorities under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills - freely develops networks, builds consensus and prioritizes effectively
  • Excellent analytical, process-oriented, problem-solving and issue-resolution skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Familiarity with JIRA, JIVE, MS Teams, Tableau
  • Familiarity with Adobe Content Suite or other online publishing and content management tools is an advantage
