As a Process Optimization consultant, you will be part of the Core Services squad which owns the core of the work in establishing the framework, tooling, and discipline around process optimization for the Firm. This squad will establish the governance and overseas the creation of guidance materials. Team also owns the framework and tracking of benefits and tool landscape related to process optimization (includes process understanding, improvement, automation, and monitoring).InnovationThe Morgan Stanley Labs Team is an (SRE) Site Reliability Engineering team, responsible for the availability, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, support and capacity planning of Morgan Stanley Labs. Labs include a significant on-premises data center in NY, as well as large footprint in public cloud, known as the Innovation Lab, governing thousands of assets and resources of a wide variety such as desktops, servers, and network appliances etc., used by almost every group within Moran Stanley Technology. The team performs rapid, safe, evaluation of technology, and is responsible for the strategy, standards and operations of Morgan Stanley's technology labs globally, providing critical services for all phases of the technology lifecycle, from initial research through to production problem post-mortems and investigations. This work also covers all technologies and all of our lines of business, from low latency trading to cloud, AI/ML, data, mobile applications, etc. Each team member in Labs is responsible for Operational Support of Lab users L1, L2 and L3 for Windows, UNIX, Networking and storage issues.Innovation OfficeThe Innovation Office focuses on elevating the Firm's innovation culture by partnering on high-impact opportunities removing barriers to innovating and accelerating time to value.Technical

What you'll do in the role:• At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role with Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• Work in partnership with the technology and business teams to develop appropriate solutions, products and templates aligning to process optimization goals.
• Work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders to communicate program strategy, coordinate deliverables, track, and report on progress.
• Help in pulling together the portfolio view of what's being done and the benefits we are getting from that work.
• Support in managing process optimization tool governance and architecture.
• Work with other team members supporting on delivering Marquee engagements.
• Provide facilitation and consulting support for teams to drive efficiency goals.What you'll bring to the role:• 10+ years of professional experience in banking and financial services
• Knowledge/Certification of Lean/Six Sigma process improvement frameworks.
• Understanding and knowledge of process improvement capabilities/framework (process mapping, mining, Intelligent document processing, workflow, RPA, design thinking etc.) and or exposure to process management and automation tooling (Celonis, UiPath, Camunda, Microsoft Power etc.)
• Evidence of participation in change management and continuous development projects within a complex global organization, preferably Financial Services
• Strong business analysis and business process management skills (e.g. defining a new process, executing the process, focusing on continuous improvement)
• Executive presence able to interact with a wide range of senior stakeholders across the firm with great interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
• Ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple stakeholder groups (including end users) to enable decision making (background in program management a plus)
• Excel and PowerPoint skills to assist with data analysis and building presentations for senior management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take a problem statement and solution it with a set of clear and concise business rules.
