We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate to own the daily management of swap trade allocations & breaks, as well as cash trade matching & settlement. They will act as the main Operational contact point for several clients and partner with internal stakeholders to address and resolve issues and queries. The candidate should be a team player, adept at multi-tasking, and enjoy working in a busy, fast-paced environment.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships, driving strategic automation solutions by embracing a transformation mindset and challenging the status quo. This is a Prime Brokerage position at Associate within Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What you'll do in the role:
  • Daily management of various client related functions such as trade allocations, amendments, client queries & reporting within specified timescales
  • Proactively contribute towards the drive to improve process efficiency through root cause analysis
  • Utilize daily client interactions to build relationships and identify STP opportunities
  • Partner with global stakeholders and various operational groups to address client needs
  • Participate in STP initiatives and system enhancements
  • Work closely with team leads and managers to adhere to and strength controls
  • Identify and escalate risk items to management in a timely manner

What you'll bring to the role:
  • Candidate should have a background in financial services within Operations
  • Experience and knowledge of Client Servicing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload and meet to deadlines
  • An understanding of risk management and escalation
  • High level of accuracy and numeracy
  • The utilization of analytical and investigative skills to a successful conclusion
  • Proactive & flexible team player
  • The ability to establish and build effective working relationships with local and global colleagues
  • Strong Excel skills, preferably with some VBA / macro experience
  • At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
