Location: Seattle (800 Fifth Avenue)
Expected base pay rate set at $28.50 per hour. Position is not eligible for benefits. No relocation or housing support is available for those outside the area.

General Description
The Parametric Summer Internship program provides current college students with an interest in learning more about operations in the asset management industry an opportunity to obtain a broad understanding of Operations and its departmental interdependencies while working in investment operations, institutional operations, or client relations group team. An internship in Operations at Parametric builds a relevant foundation of knowledge and skills in the financial services industry in a dynamic work environment.
Primary Responsibilities
− Complete daily operational tasks which may include one or more of the following: portfolio reconciliations, trade posting, trade processing workflows, processing voluntary and mandatory market events for both domestic and international market securities, and monitoring internal systems used by the Operations teams and contribute to special projects.
− Communicate with internal and/or external stakeholders to research and resolve issues.
− Run metrics, data analysis and daily/weekly reports and maintain client records/files
− Research and resolve information and account discrepancies and assisting with monitoring aged breaks
− Assist in developing/enhancing/testing written procedures for department responsibilities.
− Act as a liaison with other departments on tasks and projects
− Other responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements
− Junior or rising senior progressing towards a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics, or other area of study with an interest in financial services operations and with at least two years of undergraduate studies satisfactorily completed by the start of the internship
− Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, deadline-oriented
− Ability to collaborate with a team while having the confidence to work independently
− Strong interpersonal skills, professional tact with excellent written and verbal communication skills
− Proficiency with personal computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and other Microsoft Office programs
− Familiarity with portfolio accounting systems like Advent, or Bloomberg, a plus
