Hourly Salary set at $28.50 Other: Intern roles are not eligible for benefits.

General Description

This internship position provides ongoing support to the Institutional Sales & Service Team. Assists in performing routine operational and administrative activities including CRM, portal, and internal file maintenance. The candidate should be a dedicated, self-motivated, detail oriented, and confident individual who is interested in the financial industry and seeking to learn about the sales and service side of the business. The candidate should have the ability to solve problems and build relationships internally.

Primary Responsibilities

- Assist in maintaining the client portal framework, assists/leads in continuously ongoing portal enhancements and supports both client portal inboxes.

- Performs CRM System (Salesforce) maintenance and assists with data population as new functionality is introduced to maintain automated relationship framework, working through exceptions as they arise.

- Serves as a technical resource to the team, utilizing available resources and a demonstrated ability to handle both standard and non-standard situations through application of systems.

- Assists in maintaining accurate desktop procedures and day-to-day process documents that are distributed to the team for use. Creates new process documents as enhancements/projects come to fruition.

- Participates in broader institutional projects as needed by the Institutional Sales & Service team.

Job Requirements

- Available to work 40 hours per week during the summer.

- Progressing towards a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

- Strong attention to detail and strong written and oral communication skills.

- Experience working in Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel.

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently and simultaneously meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities and timelines.

- Must possess a high level of initiative and have a demonstrated ability to work in a strong team environment.

- Willingness to learn the firm's structure, key personnel and organizational policies and procedures, in addition to a functional knowledge of a professional services environment.
