This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which includes working in the office 3 days a week and choosing to work remotely or in the office the remaining days of the week.

ABOUT THE TEAM
Parametric's Middle Office is a strategic department uniquely positioned to assume responsibility for activities and/or support areas of high complexity with difficult to automate processes or other areas requiring dedicated focus and expertise.

The Middle Office has a focus on identifying areas of risk and opportunities to implement improved processes as well as supporting the investment team and other internal stakeholders. Areas of focus include streamlining communication flows, being a hub for information and guidance, identify areas of risk and/or challenges, define and implement process improvements and support internal business initiatives or projects where additional support and expertise is needed. Within the Middle Office there lies a unique opportunity to impact many areas of the firm and ultimately provide the highest caliber service to our clients and internal stakeholders.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Associates within the Middle Office will assist in day-to-day responsibilities and work closely with others across the organization to identify opportunities to implement, improve or assume responsibility for processes, and participate in the ongoing evolution of this team in a controlled and effective manner, meeting the needs of Clients and internal stakeholders.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform security related tasks such as security setups, pricing updates and inquiries and coordinate new pricing requests with Markit
  • Support daily cash management reporting for various clients
  • Monitor and support the build out of system enhancements as required for new products
  • Act as an internal liaison for Investment and Operations teams to reduce time spent addressing Operational issues
  • Absorb or support tasks, traditionally conducted by the Investment team, to improve the quality of information flow to the Operations teams (as appropriate subject to segregation of duties and documented controls)
  • Seek to identify areas of risk and define and implement improved risk mitigation controls
  • Identify and implement opportunities to effectively transition information between functional areas

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years' experience in Middle Office or Operations within investment management industry
  • Knowledge of a variety of derivatives, including cleared and bi-lateral instruments preferred
  • Competent in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong attention to detail with high standards for accuracy and diligence
  • Articulate and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and motivated by responsibility and accountability
  • Strong relationship-building skill and ability to thrive in a team environment

Salary range for the position: $70,000 - 150,000/Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
