This individual will be an integral part of the Trading efforts of the Global Liquidity Team in New York
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, execute, and reconcile Money Market trades. Asset classes include US Treasuries, US Agencies, Corporate Credit, and Repurchase Agreements.
- Collaborate with full investment team to manage intraday cash and liquidity needs of MSIM liquidity funds
- Communicate with Sales and Client Service teams to ensure accurate client cash flow details
- Effectively communicate market conditions and investment strategy to the Portfolio Managers, investment team, and distribution function
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing counterparties to generate market color and investment ideas

Skills Required:
- One to three years of general fixed income/money market/investment experience
- Experience with any/all: US Treasuries, US Agencies, Corporate Credit, and Repurchase Agreements. Execution experience with these products preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and desire to solve problems
- Highly proficient in a team-based, fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and quantitative skills
- Functioning knowledge of the banking system as it relates to money markets
- Proficient in Bloomberg, Tradeweb, MarketAxess - Aladdin a plus
- Bachelor's Degree required

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $95,000 and $130,000 at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
