You will:
>Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for entities in Japan, in JGAAP or USGAAP
>Analyze all proposed and existing products, services or businesses collaborating with Accounting and Regulatory Policy team, Legal and Compliance department and other relevant groups to avoid challenges in financial/regulatory audit

>Managing the required processes that support the Firm's legal entity governance and structure by executing policy and guidance
>Produce ad hoc deliverables and internal reporting for Firm Management
>Participate in various educational opportunities and update knowledge efficiently
Team Profile: Legal Entity Controllers is responsible for the accounting, reporting and oversight of core legal entities. This includes preparation of financial statements, federal and local regulatory filings, monthly closing of the Firms books and records, analytics, entity-specific accounting policy, legal entity maintenance, account reconciliation and account structure maintenance. The team in Tokyo works closely with the New York, London, and Hong Kong offices.

>Self-motivated personality with high standards for quality of work and accuracy
>Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
>University degree (BSc or BA) in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
>5 years of work experience in a related field
