What you'll do in the role:
Join our Access Management Core team as a Lead Full Stack Developer in Identity and Access Management to act as a Lead Java Developer for the development and deployment of the EPR (Entitlements Provisioning and Reporting) platform to a very large population of WM applications across the firm.
- Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization and discuss opportunities for improvement to existing and future technology solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and vision for software development projects.
- Define technical architecture and roadmap for large-scale, mission-critical systems.
- Manage a team of software engineers, assigning tasks and setting priorities.
- Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and best practices across the team.
- Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert in specific technology domains or platforms. - Continuously assess and improve team performance and efficiency.
- He/she will work with other Java and DB2 Developers located in India, New York and Montreal. We're looking for a hands-on Lead Java Developer who is smart, analytical, passionate and innovative.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Career Experience of 10-15 years with expertise in developing large scale systems using Angular, Java and databases
- Ability to effectively manage multiple functions or guide junior staff and initiatives.
- Previous experience and understanding of access management is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience leading development teams.
- Ability to influence technical direction and drive innovation.
- Experience with project planning and execution. - Mentorship of senior and junior engineers.
- Hands-on development and deployment experience in Tomcat 8.0, WebSphere Application Servers.
- Strong understanding of Object-oriented programming and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Experience in Design and Implementation of Client-Server and multi-tier Internet applications using Java and J2EE technologies.
- Proficient in writing SQL queries and Stored Procedures for DB2 databases.
- At least 6+ years of relevant experience to perform this role.
