Profile Description

We're seeking someone to join our team at a role which involves KBS scenario technical testing, compliance with additional global regulatory requirements for data resilience testing and other forms of DR technical testing.

Firm Resilience

Firm Resilience leads and coordinates initiatives to proactively prepare the Firm to be resilient against operational threats as well as identify and manage material operational risk.

Risk & Resiliency Management

This is Vice President position that Identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks to ensure operational continuity and resilience in the face of potential threats or disruptions that could impact the organization, plus management of ongoing incidents.

What you'll do in the role:
  • Fleet profile: RTEP: Resilience Technical testing and Exercise program
    The RTEP Recovery Testing program is responsible for establishing testing frameworks and partnering with technology stakeholders to execute testing and exercise events to validate recovery capability and resilience across all of technology. RTEP is part of the wider Firm Resilience department, which deliver programs in Key business systems Resilience, Business Continuity and Third Party Resilience
  • Local co-manager or direct manager depending on team and/or local requirements
  • Represent RTEP fleet in regional programs and initiatives (Asia wide)
  • Represent RTEP fleet in regional governance forums (Asia wide)
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert on regulatory drivers as it pertains to technical testing

    Functional Responsibilities:
  • KBS testing lead
  • Global lead for the technical testing for the KBS program.
  • Participate with Scenario development, with the a focus on the technical aspects to ensure the scenario is plausible, testable and severe
  • Responsible for all aspects of technical testing, including understanding the scenario and working with all relevant groups to construct technical tests which look at all aspects of the scenario
  • Responsible for post-test documentation, follow-ups, metrics and reporting and any other post-test activities which may arise Communication Skills
  • Excellent Writing skills: Needs to write, review and approve Documents which go to external parties and senior management
  • Presentation skills: Must have ability to create presentation and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Prior Experience with regulators is optimal but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of collaboration tooling.

What you'll bring to the role:
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong background in technology. Distributive application and Database are optimal
  • Knowledge/understanding of Cloud based data structures (snowflake, MongoAtlas)
  • Strong knowledge of key infrastructure components, identity management, data storage, backups, networks, data centres
  • Familiar with Agile framework, specifical Kanban and Jira
  • Knowledge of Jira Metrics and other metrics/KPI tooling
  • Familiar with Technology Risk frameworks. Min 8+ Years of relevant experience to perform this role
