JAVA - Vice President - Software Engineering
Profile Description:
We're seeking someone to join our team as a Vice President, The candidate would play AEM Dev/Sr dev role in Wealth Management Analytics and Data technology team. ADT team is seeking a developer to join and take responsibility to deliver strategy CMS solution for Digital Marketing.
The candidate will play a hands-on technical developer role in the execution of multiple strategic projects.
WM_Technology:
Wealth Management Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Business. Practice areas include: Analytics, Intelligence, & Data Technology (AIDT), Client Platforms, Core Technology Services (CTS), Financial Advisor Platforms, Global Banking Technology (GBT), Investment Solutions Technology (IST), Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST), Technology Delivery Management (TDM), User Experience (UX), and the CAO team.

What you'll do in the role:
Key responsibilities for this role include -
• Skill Set: Java
Primary skills
• Strong proficiency in Java and related toolchain technologies.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and software development tools: version control (such as Git), issue trackers (such as Jira).
• Familiarity with build tools such as: Ant, Maven, and Gradle
• Experience with testing, debugging, and deploying code to multiple environments.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance for Web applications.
• Experience developing and maintaining Web services (SOAP/REST) and Web service frameworks such as: Spring, Apache CXF.
• Experience with commonly used Unix command line tools.
• Familiarity with front-end Web technologies including: HTML5, CSS, JS and jQuery.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills
What you'll bring to the role:
Required Skills:
• At least 10+ years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role with Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in leading development initiatives / projects
• Develop and maintain applications, and Web services.
• Write clear, readable, and well-documented code.
• Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure code quality and application reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new features
