We're seeking someone to join our team as a Java Developer.

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our
clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Java Developer position at a Director level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that
support business needs.

What you'll do in the role: #LI-FT1 #BPTECH
  • Work on developing new and enhancing existing Risk applications
  • Be part of an Agile squad with members in Budapest and other locations, following Agile principles and applying DevOps practices
  • Work with large datasets and develop distributed data processing and calculation
  • Shape the tooling and technology landscape of Risk Management, by introducing tools enabling better business processes required for meeting Firm's regulatory obligations
  • Work with some of the best professionals in the business - for a firm that values individual intellect as much as teamwork
  • Work at state-of-the-art offices in the City Centre that are designed to maximize collaboration
  • Working in flexible working arrangements (core hours and opportunity to work from home)
  • Enriching challenges that provide opportunity for constant learning and advancement
  • Working in an environment which is leveraging technology to its highest potential

What you'll bring to the role:
  • Solid knowledge of Java language
  • Solid knowledge of writing and understanding SQL queries
  • Experience designing applications and data model
  • Experience with Agile Development
  • Open mind to learn new technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of distributed data processing pipelines using Spark, Hive, Python, and other tools and languages
  • Knowledge of MongoDB
  • Knowledge of Python
