IED, Stratlabs Quant - Associate

The Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) group within IED, creates rules-based investment strategies that provide our clients with a wide range of exposures.

We are seeking a highly skilled Quant to join the StratLabs Data team in Paris. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Global StratLabs team, working on statistical analysis, modelling & other innovative projects.

What will you be doing?

• Development of reporting/analytics for risk and pricing
• Financial analysis (portfolio management technique, derivatives)
• Statistical analysis & Math Modelling (optimization methods)
• Python programming
• Analytics/ad-hoc development in support of new products
• Development/enhancement of strat tools created for Sales/Trading

What we're looking for:

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Statistics/Computer Science/Math/Engineering or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Pandas, and Numpy.
• Strong interest and demonstrated experience in data science and quantitative domains.
• Comfortable with UNIX/Linux.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience working in a cross-functional teams, bridging technical & design perspectives.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Drive and desire to work in an intense team-oriented environment.
