We're seeking someone to join our team as a Head of White space and Cabling Infrastructure to manage the firms power and data cabling infrastructure and act as SME for communications rooms in the region and all applicable standards.
In the Corporate Services division, we provide solutions that enable Morgan Stanley's workforce, across our global workplace locations, to effectively and efficiently work in the service of our clients. This is a VP position within Property Services, which manages the daily operations of our facilities.

What you'll do in the role:
-Provide subject matter expertise and strategic direction to Corporate Services and Technology for Cabling and Power Design, Maintenance and Operation; monitor recurring spend and usage through monthly metrics and budget review; create/publish monthly and year-end budgets and transparency reporting.
-Develop, present and manage scope, budget and operational plans for all power & cabling projects, including project cost tracking and reporting.
-Manage consulting staff, union and non-union trades, suppliers and 3rd party vendors, ensuring 24/7 coverage for emergency or "break fix" events, resolving issues with trades and vendors (delivery delays, manpower scheduling problems, workmanship deficiencies, etc.) and apply skill in formal and informal vendor negotiation (bid documents and scopes of work/costs).
-Direct management of vendors for IT equipment rack and stack of equipment, and management of DCIM tools.
-Manage and implement Change Management process for the region
-Be responsible for ensuring all operations are carried out in line with global standards and policies
-Be responsible for compiling and maintaining White space capacity metrics to assist with future whitespace design
What you'll bring to the role:
-Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) degree or equivalent business experience
-10 years + network cabling and white space experience, with at least 5 years in operations management and 4 years within the financial sector
-Industry certification (CDCMP, CDCDP. RCDD etc)
-Vendor and contract management experience
-Superior client and customer relationship skills, effective time management skills, verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel including a cross functional team environment
-Familiarity with DCIM tools managing cabling, patching and environmentals

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
