Our Foreign Exchange & Emerging Markets ("FXEM") team is seeking to hire an Associate based in Budapest.
Business Analytics Strategists have a deep understanding of the Fixed Income business and use their technology and data skills to deliver data insights and key business metrics. Working closely with Business Management and COOs, they help set and track strategy by collecting data from various parts of the organization and build attribution models and metrics. They also build tools to capture date and distribute metrics across the organization.

The FXEM Business Analytics Strategist will work closely with the Global FXEM Chief Operating Officer Team to diagnose bottlenecks through the entire product lifecycle, identify opportunities for scaling up, and optimize the way the Firm allocates and deploys its resources to serve our clients more efficiently.
You will:
- Work with large and complex datasets in KDB and Python to derive impactful and fresh insights and analyses for business decision-making.
- You will communicate with Sales, Traders, Technologists, Strategists and Risk Managers from all divisions of the Firm to find holistic solutions to deliver the best of Morgan Stanley to our clients.
- Assist in driving business planning, business strategy and executing on key priorities.
- Create meaningful analysis to aid strategic decisions.
- Assist in presentations for senior management on pipeline, performance metrics and key initiatives.
- Assist development of web-based management reporting tool.
- Review capital and returns for transactions.
- Have a keen interest in the strategy and operations of the Fixed Income business which encompasses a large range of responsibilities.
You have:
- Degree in a quantitative area or technology such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, etc.
- Solid problem solving & math foundations and an interest in the financial industry
- Good programming skills in Python or in some other programming language
- Interest in Data Analytics and Data Science
- High resilience to work at the forefront of business decision-making
- Advanced communication skills in English
