Financial Reporting Controller Associate

Financial Reporting Controller - Associate Role will require in office attendance 3 days a week.

Responsibilities
- Work in a cohesive team responsible for the preparation of Morgan Stanley's financial results
- Prepare and maintain reporting and analysis for stakeholders across Finance and the Firm
- Assist in the production of quarterly earnings supporting documentation for senior stakeholders
- Assist in the review of the financial close and provide consolidation entries when required
- Monitor KPIs and drivers to identify and highlight areas of risk and execute key reporting controls
- Manage relationships throughout the Firm to ensure timely and proper delivery of information
- Review and sign-off on the Firm's financial data for 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K and other regulatory filings

- Assist the team with ad hoc requests and inquiries from senior management
- Contribute to our continuous process improvement initiatives and various Firm-wide strategic projects

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
- 2-3 years' experience in financial reporting, financial services experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to adapt to your audience
- Proficient in MS Office, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work, attention to detail and accuracy is essential
- A strong sense of organization and time management skills
- Worked in a high-paced environment and used multi-tasking to your advantage
- Understanding of financial systems, reporting and business processes (SAP-BPC/EPM a plus)

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $80,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
