Financial Planning Engagement Desk Specialists will be responsible for educating Financial Advisors on Morgan Stanley's state of the art financial planning tools and planning concepts. This team will assist with commercializing the overall benefit of utilizing a goals-based approach and will ensure advisors are aware of the positive impact to clients and the financial advisor's business. This role will involve partnership with key financial planning stakeholders, including Financial Planning Directors, Financial Planning Product Team and the broader Global Investment Office / Investment Solutions departments.
The Financial Planning Engagement Specialist will report to the team manager and leverage Morgan Stanley's state-of-the-art financial planning tools on behalf of experienced Financial Advisors, helping them develop their business and increase client engagement.

Financial Planning Engagement Desk Specialist Responsibilities:
• Navigate and provide expert level guidance to Financial Advisors and Support Personnel looking for assistance utilizing Morgan Stanley's financial planning tools.
• Commercialize Morgan Stanley's Financial Planning initiatives and Modern Wealth Management approach
• Work closely with other solutions specialists to incorporate sophisticated solutions into the client's financial framework
• Learn and have awareness of Morgan Stanley's broader set of digital tools.
• Work closely with the key financial planning stakeholders and other member of home office team.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Series 7, 66 licenses required
• Bachelor's degree required
• 2+ years of financial services experience or related industry preferred
• Exemplary communication, presentation, time-management and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with an ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, with a focus on the client experience
• Proficient at listening to client needs, and then be capable of skillful construction of tailored financial solutions
• Successful completion of background check and pre-employment assessments

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $60,000 and $110,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
