The ISG Financial Crimes Risk ("FCR") Team is embedded within the Firm's business line. It is responsible for identifying, assessing, and escalating potential money laundering and reputational risk issues associated with higher risk client types. The FCRCO Team is considered the first line of defense and supports the onboarding and enhanced due diligence processes for Morgan Stanley.
The Change Management Associate will support transformation initiatives within our Financial Crimes division, ensuring successful integration of new processes, systems, and controls. The ideal candidate will have experience working in regulated environments, have working knowledge of KYC policy, and be adept at bridging the gap between business requirements and technology implementation. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders across Business Units, Operations (CORDS), Technology, and Global Financial Crimes ("GFC", Second Line of Defense) teams to ensure the successful deployment of solutions that mitigate financial crimes risks, such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC).

What will you be doing?
Change Management PMO
• Help liaise between GFC and CORDS Advisory and Training to review and agree on proposed KYC changes.
• Support meetings to discuss and refine KYC policy proposals, ensuring stakeholders engagement.
Policy Change Socialisation(1LOD)
• Contribute to socialization of KYC policy changes with impacted teams across BU and CORDS Advisory and Training (1LOD) to initiate impact assessment and implementation planning.
• Plan feedback sessions to ensure relevant perspectives are considered prior to final approval.
• Facilitate coordination with relevant global and regional GFC teams to resolve challenges.
• Inform BU of policy changes and post-implementation go live dates confirmation.
KYC Policy Change Prioritization
• Coordinate analysis of KYC policy changes to inform prioritization based on risk assessment and operational impact.
• Work with relevant teams to develop a clear implementation roadmap for approved changes.
Tracking and Reporting
• Assist with monitoring the implementation of KYC policy changes across 1LOD ensuring timely updates and adherence to deadlines.
• Contribute to preparation regular reports for governance forum, highlighting progress, challenges, and outcomes of KYC policy implementations.
FCR Procedure maintenance
• Manage FCR procedure maintenance process to comply with updated KYC Standards.
• Facilitate coordination with relevant teams to ensure updates are communicated effectively and address any issues or discrepancies.

What we're looking for:
• 3+ years of experience in change management, preferably within financial services, with significant experience in technology-driven initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Take initiative, analyze, summarize, and communicate effectively
• Investigate, identify issues, impacts and trends to propose comprehensive solutions
• Multitask effectively and action matters promptly
• Work independently and in a team environment
• Handle highly confidential information with appropriate discretion

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Familiarity with financial crime compliance (AML, KYC) and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience translating business requirements into system changes, partnering with IT teams to ensure successful implementations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and drive process improvements.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing regulatory environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access)
Where will you be working?
20 Bank Street, Canary Wharf - Role will require in office attendance 4 days/week.
