We're seeking someone to join our team as a Financial Controller to work in our Finance Division.
In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis, and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources.

What you'll do in the role
- Monitor and reconcile the Firm's books and records and work together with a broader team to make sure that those are correct
- Provide detailed analyses on monthly, quarterly and yearly expense variances, define main drivers
- Create value-add analytics on revenues, expenses, and other performance metrics.
- Develop an understanding of Morgan Stanley's product lines and structure in order to answer ad-hoc queries
- Understand various calculations and complex data flows into systems, while looking to enhance current processes through automation and optimization

What you'll bring to the role
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent in Finance/Accounting or related field with 2+ years of experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong communication skills - ability to communicate effectively across all levels
- Good time management skills with an ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet demanding deadlines
- Good to have: Familiarity with VBA / SQL / Alteryx or experience with BI reporting and data visualization tools - such as Tableau, Cognos
