Field Service is a division which includes all regional, complex and branch service teams including service leaders as well as support professionals. The Field Training organization within Field Service is responsible for driving adoption of the Modern Wealth platform and Wealth Management Desktop, execution of National strategic and tactical initiatives and connecting the Field with partners across the organization.

The Assistant Vice President of Field Training and Content Strategy will report directly to the Head of Field Training and Wealth Management Platforms Engagement and Adoption and will help create and drive the strategy for the Field Training organization. The Assistant Vice President of Field Training and Content Strategy will also help lead a new initiative called Voice of the Field aimed at ensuring the field is aware of all of the firm's tools and capabilities as well as provide a forum to provide feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Be the point of contact for all Voice of the Field content, lead working group, communicate with business partners across the firm, ensure content is positioned to engage users and website is error-free.
- - Work with the Head of Field Training to develop strategic priorities for the Field Training organization and enhance the operating model.
- - Develop a metrics framework to demonstrate Field Trainer impact
- - Coordinate events for the Field Training organization including calls, conferences, etc.
- - Develop presentations, communications, and associated collateral as necessary.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- - 3-5 years of industry work experience, preferably within financial services, consulting or training
- - Strong working knowledge of Wealth Management and Practice Management
- - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- - Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to define complex business problems, synthesize data, and provide and execute on tactical and strategic solutions
- - Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- - Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of management
- - Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills
- - Must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $135,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
