The Private Markets Distribution Team (PMD) team is a global team responsible for leading and driving all capital formation activities for MSIM's Private Credit & Equity (PC&E) platform. The team works closely with the investment teams, the global sales teams, marketing, and senior leadership to plan and execute private capital raises.

As an Executive Director, Private Markets Distribution based in London you will be a member of a global team supporting 3 MDs in the EMEA region. You will support and increase client engagement with a goal of increasing AUM across all PC&E strategies.

What you'll do in the role
  • Develop strong relationships and drive collaboration with the individual Investment Teams and the MSIM Alternatives Consultant Coverage and Country sales teams with client queries, due diligence requests, and roadshows.
  • Responsible for managing various tasks related to simultaneous fundraises across the PC&E platform
  • Master, obtain and retain detailed knowledge of various investment strategies and the insight to establish opportunities for selling the suite of MSIM Private Markets products.
  • Develop client engagement content to facilitate both on and off-cycle marketing efforts across all PC&E strategies.
  • Responsible for the establishment of data rooms, support completion of DDQs, diligence requests, and commitment data tracking.
  • Provide comprehensive analysis of sales activities, market mapping, strategy related insights and competitive market intelligence.
  • Maintain prospect lists for each private markets fundraising campaign.
  • Work in close cooperation with Marketing, Compliance and Legal on product development and ongoing servicing.

What you'll bring to the role
  • Ideally 10 years plus of experience on an asset management platform of a size and scale offering private equity / credit solutions.
  • A history of commercial success driving private market sales, distribution, product, or client engagement with sophisticated asset owners across EMEA.
  • Strong understanding of private credit and private equity securities/investments, strategies, and markets.
  • Investment and markets acumen with the ability to synthesize, distill, and articulate alternative investment strategies in a straightforward manner.
  • Market awareness with the ability to obtain and retain detailed knowledge of various investment strategies.
  • Results-oriented thinker who embraces accountability.

  • CFA / CAIA or MBA
