The Office of D&I is looking to add talent to support and execute on our sponsorship and event strategy. The primary areas of need are project management and execution support. We are looking for someone who is committed to diversity and inclusion and is looking to learn and grow as an individual, on our team and within our Firm.

As the Project Manager for Sponsorships, Awards & Events, this role will support external events and drive effective and efficient processes, track dates/work/results, manage team to-dos and help execute on a defined strategy for a variety of partnership initiatives. Reporting into the Executive Director, Head of Diversity Sponsorships & Partnerships, this individual will learn to manage relationships with partners and engage deeply as a key team member. The individual will also assess and strategically partner with organizations that best drive our D&I goals. The work will include tracking and managing events (participants, logistics, content, post-event follow up); awards tracking, analyzing the ROI/impact of various initiatives, and recommending how we adjust our resources to more deeply engage with national/regional/community groups and best reach our goal of being an employer of choice.

What you'll do in the role:

- Maintains goal-oriented tracking solutions for our events
- Supports logistics for events such as communicating with stakeholders, maintaining a calendar of key dates and milestones, and administrative duties
- Develops relationships with and maintains a database of speakers and attendees across the business
- Drives the team to execute on time and completely
- Joins events virtually and in person, to support execution of our partnerships and be a D&I ambassador
- Partners closely with HCM, Talent Acquisition and other key functional staff and leaders.
- Serves as the central point of contact with our partners and manages our relationship to optimize benefits and outcomes for the Firm. Develop new relationships and strengthening pre-existing ones.
- Applies selection criteria to current external partnerships to prioritize Morgan Stanley (MS) support and identify others if needed by remaining informed of best practices and trends in the partnership space
- Synthesizes MS external impact progress through executive presentations
- Supports operational execution and budget management of partnerships offerings to ensure benefits offered are being fully utilized.

Qualifications
- Project management and/or event management experience
- Proven track record in successfully leveraging metrics, strategies, and tools to drive strong outcomes.
- Experienced in building and maintaining relationships; ability to engage
- Demonstrated ability to function in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities, while maintaining flexibility.
- Highly analytical, organized and process driven with sound judgment.
- Experience with non-profit organizations, especially in the diversity and inclusion space
- Financial industry experience preferred but not required
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience)

We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $70,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
