We're seeking someone to join our team as a Director to work independently to ensure smooth & quality operations for assigned day-to-day coverage and ongoing job rotations, analyze available data to make effective decisions and problem solving.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships, driving strategic automation solutions by embracing a transformation mindset and challenging the status quo.

This is a Director position within Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What you'll do in the role:
  • Be proactive speaking up for concerns/suggestions, ask appropriate questions, challenge status quo, escalate timely and follow through
  • Supervise functional day-to-day operations by putting policies, processes and procedures in place to establish standards and controls, and lead team to respond promptly and meet deadlines as always
  • Establish team goals and prioritize to align to business and department objectives. Define strategy and align actions to drive results, assess resourcing needs
  • Act as a trusted advisor for clients and internal stakeholders, collaborate with others and leverage a consultative approach to deliver satisfactory business results and client services
  • Show respect in workplace and work with internal/external stakeholders/contacts in a professional manner
  • Obtain relevant licenses and timely complete pre-job training and ongoing on-job training to maintain the registration
  • Continue to make contribution to managerial matters, take on ad-hoc tasks and additional responsibilities over time, as opportunities and benefits are identified

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Be open-minded to give and take feedback and demonstrates accountability for actions and errors
  • Good interpersonal skills to build cross-divisional relationships; gain support and respect from key stakeholders (e.g. Operations, Business Unit, Legal & Compliance)
  • Good communication skills to effectively communicates key points and adapt communication to audience requirements to optimize understanding
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail when performing day-to-day and analyzing or interpreting data, be aware of the current regulatory environment to recommend solutions in line with business requirements
  • Demonstrate strong risk management and control mindset with proven ability to identify and escalate issues to managers also follow through for resolutions.
  • Ability to work either on their own initiative as well as be a solid team player with strong problem solving skills, deal with ambiguity and be able to make decisions with available information / facts while balancing risk, opportunity and cost.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible to changing priorities and demonstrate good organizational skills and collaboration across divisions.
  • Lead and inspire team to be open-minded, manage satisfactory deliveries, raise risk awareness, challenge status quo, champion Transformation mindset.
  • Promote equality and drive a culture of acceptance, inclusivity and respect. Develop trust to generate a sense of belonging through open and honest communication.
  • Demonstrate appetite to learn and enhance skills, by engaging in transformation trainings and awareness events. Advocate new opportunities beyond routine tasks, share use cases across locations, build automation solutions that create capacity, reduce risk, improve client services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software (e.g. excel, word, power points). Great plus if any experience for productivity tools (e.g. UiPath, Alteryx, PowerBI)
  • At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
