We're seeking someone to join our team as a Market Data Inventory Specialist. Oversee dynamic FITS data entry and inventory management processes, including validating vendor reports, processing changes and exceptions, and ensuring accurate end-of-month closing, all while delivering exceptional service and maintaining comprehensive documentation to streamline operations.

This is Director level position within GSS, the Global Market Data group includes Market Data Sourcing, Analyst, Administration, and Inventory Management teams. The Market Data Sourcing team manages the Firm's global procurement relationships with providers of market data content and services while partnering with Analysts and business units to evaluate, and understand business market data requirements, to identify the data sources and vendor products needed to execute the business, and to influence and advise on best-fit solutions. Key functions of the Market Data Sourcing role include Strategic data provider relationship management, advisor to business units and Market Data Analysts, analysis of BU requirements and consumption drivers and development, negotiation and execution of data agreements. As a member of Market Data Inventory Management team, an individual will maintain inventory of market data providers and their products in accordance with pricing rules outlined in market data contracts. The role requires management of client requests queue; data modifications using inventory system and tools; interaction with market data providers as well as internal Sourcing, Analyst, Admin, Expense Management, and Technology groups; other activities necessary to maintain up-to-date inventory of market data use focusing on client services and data quality.

What you'll do in the role:
- Preferred candidate will have experience working with FITS inventory management tool. Familiarity with market data providers, product administration, and financial management is a plus.
- FITS data entry including basic management of pricing records, platforms, and billing accounts
- Reception and validation of inventory reports from external vendors
- Inventory bulk loads and exceptions processing
- Management of inventory Jira queue
- Processing of ad-hoc inventory change requests
- End-of-month closing and data validation
- Submission of declarations using vendor tools
- Resolution of basic inventory data inquiries and inventory reports
- Maintenance and creation of documentation Skills Required: Candidate must be organized, detail-focused, self-motivated, and flexible. Must be able to synthesize information from various sources into a cohesive solution, look for and advocate workflow efficiencies. Ability to work in a constantly changiing environment, prioritize, and meet deadlines is a must. Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Experience working with FITS Inventory Management tool or other market data inventory system.
- Knowledge of market data industry, vendors, and products. Sufficient Microsoft Office, particularly Excel & Access, skills.
