The AVP role supports the U.S. Banks Data Quality Program for driving compliance with the Firm's Data Quality Policy and procedures to manage risks associated with Data Quality.
This role requires regular interaction with other divisions across firm, technology, Bank Business partners, Bank Data Stakeholders, Compliance, Second Line Risk and Internal Audit.

Responsibilities
> Assisting in the build out of the newly created US Banks Offshore Data Quality Program.
> Planning and executing on the department's strategy to enhance the data quality risk environment by driving compliance with the Firm's Data Quality Policy and procedures.
> Collaborating with Firm Data Office, Divisional Data Offices, Data Owners, System Owners, and Data Consumers to implement data quality policy standards on prioritized data (Data Ownership, Data Authorities, Data Sourcing, Data Quality, Data Cataloging).
> Implement consistent reporting and tracking across key data governance areas: Data Quality, Issue Management, Policy Compliance, and other related data processes.
> Consistent execution of weekly/monthly processes and reporting.
> Support product, business and risk partners with data related issues or initiatives. Coordinate with consumers to triage data related issues in key processes and reporting.
> Support periodic management committee reporting processes.
> Should be able to mentor, train and manage junior team members.
Required Skills/Experiences
> Bachelor's degree; preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics
> 6-9years of professional experience, preferably in data management and governance, data quality, data analysis, data lineage processes and/or financial services industry.
> Ability to leverage and analyze data to inform focus and views on risk management.
> Attention to detail, strong analytical, quantitative, and investigative problem-solving abilities.
> Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English; capable of clear and concise writing, making presentations to an internal audience, and interacting with senior management, and colleagues.
> Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, both independently and as part of a team, under tight deadlines and ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently, efficiently, and effectively.
> Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Advanced knowledge of Excel is required.
> Data certification (e.g., CDMP, etc.) is a distinct plus.
