We are looking for an energetic professional to join our Procurement Operations team at Morgan Stanley to support all aspects of the Purchase Order process. The role will consist of providing daily oversight of the operations as well as governance to the Outsourced service provider and work with our key stake holders in Sourcing and the Business on time sensitive deals/transactions.

In addition, the role will require the individual to drive process improvement by using best practices. They will also support and recommend to management strategic initiatives when finding improvement opportunities in the business processes.

What you'll do in the role:

  • Provide supervisory oversight of the outsourced supplier.

  • Ensure that the outsourced supplier is complying with the agreed upon service levels and performance standards.

  • Entering commercial contractual line items into the contract compliance system

  • Aligning contractual lines across various budgetary tools and accounting information

  • Monitoring and attending to inquiries/requests received via mailbox and ticketing tool.

  • Communicate with Sourcing and/or Business contacts regarding commercial terms setup questions or issues.

  • Managing requisitions, purchase orders and delivery tracking

  • Maintain an up-to-date queue for items in progress.

  • Working closely with the Procurement Operations BPO center ensuring all targets and deliverables are being met.

  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly oversight of the following: E-mail queue management, Procurement Support, and various other operational activities.

  • Partnering with Sourcing and the Business on executing high visibility transactions.

  • Partnering with Expense Management team on open invoices and receiving related matters.

  • Updating Standard Operating Procedures; working with leadership team to better understand process so documents are clear and concise.

  • Ability to coordinate small to medium scaled projects on a global basis and as necessary.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Strong Ariba Contract Compliance or relevant experience.

  • Experience with the Ariba application and an understanding of the Procurement Operations functions, e.g. Purchase-to-PO cycle, Helpdesk, Catalog Management, etc.

  • Experience with Ariba Contract Compliance and an understanding of Contract Management

  • Effective communicator with client facing experience. Good facilitator, confident in working with others at all levels.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products, particularly:

  • Microsoft Excel

  • Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Microsoft PowerBI

  • RPA tools (e.g. UiPath)

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.

  • Very strong team player who is comfortable multi-tasking and works well during high demand cycles.

  • Strong work ethic and drive
