Technical Project Specialist - Custom Report Developer
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong prioritization skills and have significant technical coding experience, with a proven track record of achieving success in a fast-paced, results-driven organization.
>Developing custom reporting solutions for an equity compensation platform, leveraging both IBI WebFOCUS and SQL (for payroll tax withholding, employee stock purchase plans, stock vesting, and HRIS data feeds) to develop data outputs which meet client reporting and integration needs.
>Partnering with internal project leads and product managers to develop and implement tailored data outputs, translating client business requirements into technical specifications for programming custom reports.
>Analyzing, testing, and adjusting technical programming to perform maintenance for previously developed reports.
Qualifications - Internal
Qualifications
> 3+ years of experience as a technical developer is required.
>Expertise and hands on experience with SQL required and IBI WebFOCUS strongly preferred
>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, or related experience is preferred
>Ability to proactively identify potential risks, design deficiencies, and issues, while developing courses of action to resolve
>Strong teamwork skills with the ability to problem solve, learn quickly, share knowledge, multi-task and adapt to constantly changing priorities
>Working knowledge of payroll processing, equity-related accounting, tax, and legal concepts, both US and Global strongly preferred
>Clear understanding of best business practices with respect to processes and methodologies Knowledge and Skills
>Positive and professional relationship management capabilities
>Independent in decision-making with sound judgment
>Adaptable and well-organized in multi-tasking
>Adapts easily to Morgan Stanley systems, Salesforce, and MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
