Delivery Oversight Lead (Hybrid)

We are seeking a seasoned Delivery Oversight Lead to establish and lead our project delivery team within the Portfolio Governance function. This is a high-impact role combining strategic oversight, hands-on program management and delivery team leadership. This role requires a leader with experience in managing complex programs, along with the expertise to build, scale and structure a delivery function to drive efficiency.

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is an Executive Director position within the ETS Portfolio Governance & Delivery (PGD) team that oversees the strategic alignment, execution, and governance of key initiatives, ensuring they deliver value, meet organizational goals, and adhere to compliance and risk standards, while also managing and facilitating cross-functional alignment and dependency management.

What you'll do in the role:

  • Enable and scale a high-performing project delivery team by recruiting, onboarding, and training.
  • Design and implement a strategic operating model for the delivery function, ensuring consistent and efficient approach to managing, tracking and reporting on project progress.
  • Act as primary liaison and escalation point between the delivery team and senior leadership.
  • Oversee planning, prioritization, and alignment of programs and projects to ensure they support organizational goals and are consistent with overall strategy.
  • Act as the central point of contact for portfolio-level updates, providing insight into program / project performance and resource needs.
  • Lead and manage high-priority programs and projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget and risk control adherence and alignment with key performance indicators.
  • Coordinate cross- functional teams, resources, and stakeholder engagement to drive deliverables, manage dependencies and ensure success.
  • Actively monitor project / program interdependencies, facilitating quick resolution of conflicts to keep initiatives on track.
  • Serve as trusted advisor to project teams, offering guidance on governance standards, risk management and effective issue resolution.
  • Engage with senior leadership and key stakeholders to prepare and deliver clear, high-level presentations and reports that communicate on the project progress.
  • Track project financials, including budget adherence and forecasting.
  • Ensure adherence to governance standards across programs / projects, embedding best practices for reporting, compliance, and risk management.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • 10 + years of experience in project management, with demonstrated capability in managing complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to oversee a diverse portfolio of programs/ projects and align with organizational goals.
  • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across functions.
  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks, reporting standards and risk management practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and lead process improvements.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to perform in high pressure, fast paced situations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Proficiency with project management and reporting tools (i.e. Jira, PPT, Excel, Power BI).
  • Technology and Financial Services background (desired).
