This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which includes working in the office 3 days a week and choosing to work remotely or in the office the remaining days of the week.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Business Data Solutions team sits within the Data Services team and is responsible for ensuring that data being sourced for critical business functions is available and fit for purpose. This team coordinates the on-boarding of external index data and leads the process to ensure this data is available on time and with good quality. The team also includes data analysts who support critical projects and ensure data is understood and documented prior to being integrated into key business processes.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Data Integration Analyst is a key player in ensuring that the data Parametric relies on for critical business functions is available and of good quality. This individual will conduct data analysis, review and resolve data exceptions, field data requests and questions, and help to maintain data catalogs. This role interacts with multiple areas of the firm (data management, portfolio management, data governance etc.) in addition to external vendors.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help to ensure that benchmark data processes are properly documented and up to date as well as making sure data catalogs are up to date
- Work with data providers to monitor and resolve quality issue with data files received.
- Document and/or update processes used to monitor incoming financial market data
- Creation of Alteryx workflows to assist in low-code automation solutions
- Work with internal technology teams to coordinate requirements and release testing for internal tools and UIs.
- Work with the data governance team to ensure our data and data product catalogs are up to date
- Help to review and resolve data quality exceptions as a part of our Data Quality program
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Technology or related field strongly preferred
- 0-2 years of experience working with investments, financial market data, or corporate actions
- Proficient in analyzing data using MS Excel and SQL. Experience with additional coding languages is preferred
- Demonstrate strength in critical thinking to help recommend solutions, requires an analytical and thoughtful approach to work and making decisions
- Strong team player and ultimately focused on delivering results with high standards
- Familiarity with data governance concepts is preferred
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment

Salary range for the position: $60,000-$90,000/Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
