We are seeking an Associate to join our Internal Audit Data Analytics team in Budapest.

In the Audit division, we provide senior management an objective and independent assessment of the Firm's internal control environment for risk management and governance.

What you'll do in the role: #LI-EK1#BPAUD

  • Be data curious - analyze large and complex data sets to produce compelling insights and identify trends and outliers
  • Work with the Data Analytics lead and stakeholders to establish and accomplish project objectives
  • Define detailed requirements including business rules and data acquisition needs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop user-friendly dashboards and visualization tools
  • Develop processes and scripts to Extract / Transform and Load (ETL) data
  • Maintain strong client focus by building strong relationships with Firm-wide stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to utilize data analytics solutions and tools in Internal Audit

What you'll bring to the role:
  • University / college degree in a relevant subject (data analytics, programming, engineering, etc.)
  • 2-6 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in using SQL / Python / Alteryx, etc. to create complex queries for extracting and analyzing data
  • Familiarity with database design concepts
  • Ability to translate complex technical data concepts and language into business context
  • Understanding of data protection and data sensitivity rules and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
  • Experience in internal audit, banking or capital markets is an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience of AI/ML concepts and development of models is an advantage
  • Extensive experience id developing dashboards in Tableau, QlikView and PowerBI is an advantage
