Credit Risk Management team offers that opportunity to participate in the Firm's effort to develop, maintain and manage Credit Risk Rating models used to manage credit risk and set risk appetite for the Department as well as determining the Firm's capital requirements and needs as part of the Firm's chosen Internal ratings-based (IRB) framework.
The Credit Risk Department, comprised of more than 100 professionals in Budapest, is one of the key lines of defence for Morgan Stanley's balance sheet.

The team ensures that credit ratings, limits, and other attributes are accurate and up to date for Morgan Stanley's corporate lending and derivatives trading business lines, while also participating in the preparation of proposals for the extension of credit.
The IRB team is a cross-departmental working community involving various Risk stripes, Finance, IT and Legal. You will directly work with the Head of Credit Risk Ratings reporting into to the Head of IRB and will be involved in the management and oversight of IRB and credit risk models. The role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, supporting IRB model development and working with cross-functional teams to enhance the credit risk management framework and models.

You will:
-Be part of the Credit Risk Management Team focusing on projects related to credit rating model development and model landscape changes;
-Manage and prioritize the projects in scope, connect with other peer teams to define new processes, initiate enhancements;
-Assist in the design, development and implementation of credit rating models;
-Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support regulatory submissions;
-Work closely with Risk, Finance and IT teams to ensure data quality and assist model implementation;
-Guide and support Model Owners with regards to development by providing insight and recommendations;
You have:
-Experience with working on and managing multiple projects;
-The ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, both in writing and verbally.
-Strong organization skills to enable working with cross-functional teams and various departments;
-Strong attention to detail and ability to provide information in a meaningful way;
-Knowledge of financial products and risk management;
-Understanding of regulatory frameworks and knowledge of supervisory guidelines;
-Bachelor's degree or above and 7+ years of work experience
