We're seeking someone to join the Commodities Trade Support team in Asia Branch Operations who will be responsible for trade capturing, processing trade lifecycle events, reconciling, monitoring and resolving trade exceptions for Commodities business. The role will also involve resolving and escalating trade related queries and issues, in conjunction with regional trade support teams. The individual will engage directly with the sales and trading desks based in Singapore. The individual will report to the team manager based in Singapore. In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships, driving strategic automation solutions by embracing a transformation mindset and challenging the status quo. This is a Team Specialist position at Director level within Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes. What you'll do in the role: -Serve as a subject matter expert within functional area, working with Team Manager to manage processes, risks and/or projects, proposing and implementing improvements/changes -Act as key problem solver for area or expertise, applying detailed knowledge to address unique or novel situations, recognise risks and draw out key issues -Coordinate work, train and develop other team members where required, including task allocation, and project contribution -Timely and accurate trade capture and checkout -Resolve trade discrepancies with counterparties by liaising with trading, sales and relevant teams -Monitor and process trade lifecycle events -Control, reconcile, and resolve the trade processing exceptions -Drive operational readiness for new business initiatives -Providing back up support and coverage for other functional teams in Singapore Asia Branch Operations

What you'll bring to the role: -Ability to lead by example, work with drive and determination, and put forward challenging views to senior levels -Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of functional area and operational/compliance policies and procedures of their team -Ability to operate independently across the majority of day-to-day responsibilities -Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values and acting as a role model -At least 4 years' relevant experience with global investment bank, with Commodities trade support experience
-Good understanding of Commodities products, business and operational knowledge
-Strong record of dealing with sales / traders and clients
-Ability to perform in the fast paced environment on trading floor
-Effective problem solving skills
