We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Shared Services and Banking Operations department to work on cross functional projects in support of changed or new regulations, processes and controls that have an impact across the firm coordinating with legal, compliance, central change and technology.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships, driving strategic automation solutions by embracing a transformation mindset and challenging the status quo. This is an Associate position within Core Services, which is responsible for performing and managing product-agnostic and centralized operational services across several businesses and products.

What you'll do in the role:
- Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team
- Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements
- Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output
- Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution
- Performing Client Due Diligence review in support of the Firm's new client onboarding and existing client regular review in accordance with the applicable regulatory program requirements (such as US, UK, Germany, Dubai, US, Hong Kong, Singapore KYC requirements and applicable eligibility standards).
- Prepare client outreach templates and work closely with the IBD Onboarding team and bankers to create a seamless experience for new clients onboarding with Morgan Stanley.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Ability to establish clear goals and priorities, and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision
- Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests
- Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values
- Experience and solid knowledge of the KYC and AML Compliance policies and how they are applied in a U.S. banking regulatory environment.
- Strong understanding of the Client Onboarding Process and documentation/information specific to KYC/AML and the different types of entities.
- At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

Role is hybrid and will require in office attendance 3 days/week.
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between 60000 and 90000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
