We're seeking someone to join our The Global Technology Talent Development team as a Technology Talent Data Analytics Lead in Talent & Engagement to lead a data analytics team to delivering analytics projects that identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to decision makers to support strategic planning.

What you'll do in the role:
- Partner with stakeholders and data owners to understand the needs and develop customized solutions to meet their needs.
- Provide Technology Talent team and relevant stakeholders in Technology data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and drive talent initiatives.
- Conduct statistical analyses and predictive modelling to support Technology Talent initiatives and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Lead the Talent Data Analytics team to complete: Collect and analyze talent data from various sources; Clean, transform and validate HR data to ensure accuracy, consistency and data integrity; Use data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, correlations and insights related to talent metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and reliability in data analysis and to enable the team to deliver maintainable, reliable and scalable data analytics products.
- Collaborate with development team and external vendors to optimize data management systems and ensure data accuracy and accessibility under the compliance requirement in Morgan Stanley.
What you'll bring to the role:
- At least 8 years of experience as a business or data analyst in a reporting analytics function.
- Experience managing a global team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex data.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to effectively communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in building a data application in enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in using data analysis tools and programming languages and software architecture. Experience with cloud-based analytics software is preferred, such has PowerBI, Snowflake, Databricks, Python.
- Experience in HR domain or working closely with HR data analytics is preferred.
- Strong organizational and team management skills to handle collaboration within the internal teams and partner teams outside of the Technology Talent team.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with data analysis trends, tools and best practices.
- Agile management experience is a plus.
