We're seeking someone to join our team as a Business Analyst - Director in Wealth Management Brokerage Operations for Digital Direct Channel to lead assigned change efforts in accordance with Morgan Stanley standards and methodologies.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Director level position within the Change, Analytics & Strategy, which is responsible for developing operating and technology strategies, managing, and executing transformation initiatives, leading Agile fleet activities, driving innovation, developing analytics solutions, and delivering business outcomes.

What you'll do in the role:
- Take ownership of deliverables in large, complex programs and drive them from inception to deployment, partnering with PMO and Product Owners.
- Drive root cause analyses on production breaks, determining the solution.
- Lead working sessions/discovery with internal teams and vendors to elicit and document business requirements, capturing detailed requirements in epics and user stories.
- Collaborate with technology team, SME, other colleagues and the business to define solutions that meet business requirements and technology standards.
- Be able to build consensus and promptly close out business decisions.
- Write detailed business acceptance test cases and perform UAT testing.
- Analyze incidents and requests and ensure issues or defects are identified, documented, and result in timely resolution.
- Identifying risks and issues and escalating as required.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years working experience as a business analyst or in a similar role.
- Experienced in managing projects across multiple teams using standard methodologies, including the Agile and Hybrid approaches.
- Strong experience in driving requirements analysis, documentation, delivery.
- Experienced in working directly with stakeholders.
- Advanced data visualization experience.
- Experienced in working with JIRA, SQL queries, Visio, Excel.
- Banking, brokerage, financial services experience preferred.
