CBS Strategy & Operations Manager (Hybrid)

We're seeking someone to join our team as a CBS (Corporate Business Solutions) Operations Director to provide operational and strategic support on all aspects of the day to day running of the CBS Organization. The role will report into the Global Head of Business Strategy & Operations and provide support to the CBS Senior Leadership Team.

In the Corporate Services division, we empower our businesses by creating collaborative workplace solutions and commercial services that enhance the employee and client experience, while optimizing the value of our sourcing and third-party lifecycle to enable the Firm to do-and-win business. This is a Director position within Business Unit Management, which performs business management/ Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) functions such as headcount management, financials, people processes, executive communications, and strategic support.

What you'll do in the role:
  • Monitoring and reporting on operating expenses and working with our Corporate Service expense management team to ensure we maintain compliance with Firm expense policies and stay within budget.
  • Manage internal stakeholder queries on CBS allocated managed spend, provide insights and analysis of the CBS managed spend and drivers to support internal stakeholder discussion on managed spend.
  • Coordinating the annual budgeting submission and working with the Corporate Service expense management team on monthly variance analysis to identify and report on risk and opportunities in our expense base.
  • Support the production and delivery of high-quality and meaningful executive reporting and analytics to that support business decisions and aggregate materials for management and business reviews.
  • CBS Risk Management: Partner with CS (Corporate Service) Risk on risk adherence and governance within CBS. Management of CBS specific risk programs such as MNPI, Permanent Insiders.
  • Support the CBS Technology Program, including the process optimization workstream.

What you'll bring to the role:
  • 5+ years' experience in similar roles in a large global financial institution.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail and a track record of high-quality output.
  • Independent, self-starter, excellent problem-solving abilities with an execution-driven attitude.
  • Strong client focus, continuously developing/enhancing relationships with internal partners.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity in a business environment that brings new challenges every day
