• Support the team in driving business planning, business strategy and key priorities for the Division, including resource utilization (Capital, Balance sheet and Liquidity)

• Support the initiatives to drive improvements in PBT margin through monitoring of the expenses, analysis of large expense items and participation in multiple firm-wide initiatives for expense efficiency
• Maintaining accurate data in order to provide timely management information, to shape business decisions and maintain tight control over resource consumption.
• Support the annual Key Business Services assessments, including development of supporting documentation and management presentation materials
• Assist in the preparation of the quarterly business reviews including coordination of management materials and financials
• Analysing revenue, expenses and headcount on regular and ad-hoc basis
• Working closely with IT developers on report production and enhancements
• Identifying areas of business and operational inefficiency and proactively implementing improvements
• Assist in driving business planning/strategy, budgeting and executing on key priorities

You have:
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 1-3 years relevant work experience with Fixed Income Products
• Strong understanding of front to back processes and control environment.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel & PowerPoint required
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, verbal, and presentations
• Strong analytical / problem solving, and project management skills
• Confident, self-starter, assertive and energetic
• Ability to quickly grasp key concepts and take ownership of deliverables, whilst managing multiple priorities
• Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
• Proactive and results oriented mindset
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English

Team profile

The Fixed Income Division (FID) is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Corporate Credit, and Commodities Products. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets.
The EMEA FID COO Team is looking for a suitable candidate to join the FID Management team. The successful person will work closely with all members of the COO Team, EMEA FID management team, including Desk Heads, and colleagues in Finance, Operations and Technology. The role requires a keen interest in the strategy, trading and operations of the Fixed Income business and encompasses a large range of responsibilities. Team is focused on monitoring the performance of FID via data analytics and reporting.
