We're seeking someone to join our team as a Business Intelligence Manager to work in our Finance Division.

In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis, and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources.

The Budapest Centralized Management team, within Finance, is responsible for providing valuable insight to Senior Management to support their strategic decision making. The team operates a Business Intelligence reporting tool built to support the analysis and reporting of Workforce, Financial, Risk and Process Management related metrics. Supported by QlikView and Tableau, applications within the tool are structured on easy-to-use, easy-to-understand dashboards, scorecards and reports that improve reporting efficiency to a wide range of users and their diverse reporting requirements.

What you'll do in the role
  • Work directly with functional / regional COO teams and Business Management teams to identify process improvement opportunities and ensure that both the Business Intelligence Platform and Dashboard Suite cater to clients' evolving reporting needs, in line with Finance goals and firm-wide standards
  • Create tactical solutions to generate bandwidth, convert designs and specifications into business dashboards, scorecards and standardized reports
  • Manage dashboard development / automation / process improvement projects by using an Agile Project Management Methodology
  • Liaise with Finance / HR / Technology developers on automation projects, including the creation of User Stories, dashboard development, performing testing and managing the progress of each project to completion; ensuring Finance client's needs are translated for Technology counterparts

What you'll bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree in business-related discipline and min 4+ years of relevant work experience (within a reporting or BI function)
  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English; able to develop quick rapport at all levels
  • Competency and/or interest in developing following skills:
  • Skilled in Alteryx
  • Skilled in Python
  • Skilled in PowerBI
  • Familiarity with Tableau
  • VBA knowledge is an advantage
  • Understanding of databases / SQL (DB2, Snowflake, MSSQL) is an advantage
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, good organization and time management skills
  • Project Management experience, particularly with Agile Methodology, is an advantage
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing environments quickly and effectively
