We are looking for self-motivated individuals with combined technical/quantitative skills to provide data insights to our Global Capital Markets (GCM) Division across the globe and help build GCM presence in Budapest.

Role responsibilities

  • Work with GCM COOs, Strategists and Controllers globally on developing metrics that provide insights to business leaders about performance and resource allocations.
  • Engineer solutions that enable reporting: setting up data feeds, optimizing data storage and implementing metric calculations.
  • Own Work with Cross Desk Strategists across the Institutional Securities Group to improve our cutting edge reporting frameworks.
  • Work with the Security Architecture team on designing and building a secure and efficient reporting architecture.

Role requirements
  • Ideally 3+ years relevant experience in a programming or quantitative role.
  • Strong programming skills in at least one general purpose programming language (including but not limited to Python, C++, Java, JavaScript). Experience with distributed computing environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, ability to build a network of trusted partners in a global organization and able to collaborate with all levels within the organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand the business context and make the right decisions
  • Strong time management skills, including the ability to work on simultaneous items across multiple stakeholders with short lead times
