Morgan Stanley (MS) is a global financial services firm that conducts its business through three principal business segments - Institutional Securities Group (ISG), Wealth Management (WM), and Asset Management. The US Banks - Morgan Stanley Private Bank, National Association (MSPBNA) and Morgan Stanley Bank, National Association (MSBNA) - provide cash management, deposit and lending products and services to serve the needs of WM & ISG clients.

We are looking for an individual to join the Digital Direct and Workplace Banking team, which is responsible for distribution of bank products & services into the self-directed client segments in WM - E*TRADE and Morgan Stanley at Work. This role is an opportunity to build deep banking and lending product knowledge and develop strategies to deliver those products to the end clients.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to navigate through ambiguity, quickly grasp big picture context, and drive forward initiatives by building relationships with partners across product management, sales, marketing, technology, risk, legal and compliance etc.

Position Summary
  • Identify and evaluate business growth opportunities and make recommendations to senior management on scale and feasibility
  • Develop detailed implementation approach for prioritized initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with partners to execute the suite of system and processes changes required, with a key focus on client experience
  • Develop executive level presentations and be comfortable presenting to a broad set of stakeholders at all levels of seniority

Experience
  • 3-5+ years of professional experience structuring strategy and executing in either management consulting or within internal strategy teams - ideally within wealth management, retail banking or lending, and/or consumer financial services.
  • Bachelor's degree required

Skills/Abilities Preferred
  • Experience of product delivery to retail clients
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and a creative and flexible approach to problem solving
  • Highly developed sense of ownership and accountability for work
  • Self-motivated and autonomous
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal presentation skills
  • Ability to bring ambiguous issues to resolution
  • Strong time management skills
  • Fluency with all MS Office tools, including Power Point, Excel, Project, and Visio

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $125,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
