Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC seeks an Associate, Trading in New York, NY

Manage post execution and post market operational processes from Emerging Markets Exchange Traded Funds to ensure accuracy of risk systems and the firm's books and records. Improve and automate existing Morgan Stanley tools, systems and models in collaboration with technology and developing teams. Generate risk and volatility reports to identify new hedging and trading opportunities. Provide market making derivative products for the Firm's clients. Manage the portfolio using dynamic hedging and trading due to the nature of derivatives products. Collaborate with sales and clients to provide content and trade ideas.

Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), mathematics, Finance, or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years as an Analyst, or a closely related occupation. Requires one (1) year of experience with: Equity balance sheet management; Future Index trading; Index, ETFs, and Single Stocks volatility trading; ETF and ADRs Market-making; Equity- rates correlation; Emerging Market FX trading; Dividend risk management; Dividend prediction models; Bloomberg Systems; Excel; Programming in R and Python; Developing alphas signal using R and Python; Applying statistical methods on signal models; Equity financial statements and accounting including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement. Experience may be gained pre- or post- Bachelor's attainment.
