Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks an Associate, Technology Audit in New York, NY

Provide independent assurance on the quality and effectiveness of Morgan Stanley's internal control and risk management, and governance systems and processes. Focus on the application and system infrastructure controls that manage business risks. Understand, analyze, and test the technology controls including those over data accuracy and completeness; processing, systems development, and application security; and entitlements, production management, and technology governance. Identify and assess areas of critical and high risks and evaluate application and system infrastructure controls as per audit methodology. Document observations of controls assessments and prepare the test lead sheets to support the findings. Communicate with process owners to obtain key reports and data samples, communicate risk and issues identified, and articulate the impact amongst stakeholder and senior members of audit team. Assist in performing quarterly continuous monitoring to identify new developments and assess overall control and risk environment.

Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $146,000 and $146,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requirements:

Requires a Master's degree in Information Management, Information Technology, or a related field of study and one (1) year of experience in the position offered or one (1) year as a Risk Technology Auditor, Auditor, or a closely related occupation. Requires one (1) year of experience with: application and IT General controls including testing of the system configuration and data interface; Data Backup and Disaster Recovery; Access Management; Capacity Management; Data Analytics; Financial System Architecture including regulatory environment; audit principles, tools, and processes including risk assessments, testing, reporting, and continuous monitoring; Analytic Reasoning and Data Visualization; Project Management; SQL; Snowflake; JIRA; and Data Visualization including Tableau and PowerBI.
