The Fixed Income Division (FID) is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit, SPG Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets.

Primary Responsibilities
• Morgan Stanley SPG is one of the leading global SPG services firm providing a wide range of services to clients.
• Morgan Stanley is seeking an Associate level Quant (2-5 years of experience) with strong technology skills to join the front office SPG strategies. The new hire will be involved in developing analytics tools, and in supporting traders' daily operations for the SPG desk. Responsibilities include building and supporting models, analytics and valuation tools to be used by the traders and global strats.
• Successful candidate must be a result-oriented problem solver, who can pick required math and finance knowledge as needed.

Required Competencies

Candidate should have:
• Strong background on development and coding In Python and KDB/Q
• Highly motivated professional with strong communication skills
• SPG domain experience will be a plus.
• Knowledge of Fixed Income products and relevant strats experience.
