Departmental Profile

The FID Interdepartmental Strategies team works with the onshore team to implement tools and business reporting solutions aiming to enhance business' ability to manage key performance indicators, resources, etc.

This role will require the candidate to partner within various verticals of FID Strats/ desk as well as other firm functions within Corporate Treasury, BRM, Finance and Risk Management groups to ensure Fixed Income solutions are aligned with the overall Firm's risk management and technology strategy.

Role Responsibilities
• Implement tools to analyze profitability of businesses/clients and optimization of resources.
• Development of frameworks for various reporting and analytical tools.
• Develop proprietary applications for analyzing impact of various capital regimes on trade performance.
• Implement reporting requirements for Fixed Income resources (e.g., capital, funding, liquidity, balance sheet usage)

Key Skills and Experience:
• Strong coding skills (Java/Python/C++).
• Experience with SQL/ any RDBMS/ KDB/Q.
• Proven interest in finance and financial instruments
• Knowledge of financial mathematics is preferred.
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to work thoughtfully and independently and manage multiple projects.
