Utilize data modeling, risk management, and financial reporting to conduct data analysis, risk assessment and reporting to inform decision-making processes within the business and optimize risk management. Evaluate existing reports, processes, and analytical tools to pinpoint areas for enhancement in efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor daily financial report production, identify breaches in reports and ensure timely rectification of any discrepancies. Produce, review and enhance market risk committee presentations. Ensure presentations align with strategic objectives and regulatory standards. Leverage business intelligence tools to develop dynamic and visually compelling financial reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Utilize programming languages including VBA to automate tasks, streamline processes, and enhance efficiency in report generation and data analysis. Utilize data extraction and manipulation tools including SQL to efficiently handle large datasets, ensuring accuracy and reliability in reporting. Contribute to informed decision-making regarding risk management strategies using XVA (Valuation Adjustments) and CVA (Credit Valuation Adjustment). Maintain technical documentation to ensure quality control and requirement compliance and contribute to a robust risk management framework within the organization.

Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $136,000 and $140,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and four (4) years of experience in the position offered or four (4) years as an Associate, Analyst, or a related role. Requires four (4) years of experience with: Data modeling, Risk Management or financial reporting; business intelligence tools including Tableau or PowerBI; using VBA programming language to execute automation tasks; using SQL for data extraction and manipulation of large datasets; using Microsoft Excel for data analysis; and using PowerPoint to create presentations of data analysis. Requires two (2) years of experience with: XVA (Valuation Adjustments); CVA (Credit Valuation Adjustment); maintaining technical documentation to ensure quality control and compliance with audit, Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS), and risk process validation requirements; and Financial Services. Requires any amount of experience with: Market Risk; and Liquidity Risk.
