Provide technical and thought leadership to testing teams as the organization transforms to a cloud based, DevOps technology solution. Conceptualize and design test strategy to Develop Test Scripts and implement Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and features for BDD (Behavior Driven Development), TDD (Test Driven Development) using Cucumber and Java-Selenium. Collaborate with Business, Operations, and Technology leads to develop, build out, execute Integration programs to clarify and resolve testing issues. Work with Test Manager and other Test Analysts to plan and execute testing tasks. Log defects in defect tracking system, ensure defects follow STLC lifecycle, and perform periodic oversight of test reports. Review requirement specifications, identify gaps, and determine testability and testing implications. Represent collective testing teams within meetings with Senior Leadership. Mentor the testing teams and ensure training is performed within team on new technologies. Implement automation using Selenium Grid to perform testing on multiple devices and browsers. Develop the scripts to support Jenkins (Continuous Integration) of the scripts with the build server. Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $169,000 and $169,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requirements:

Requires a Master's degree in Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years as a Software Development Engineer, Senior Associate, Manager IT and Product Development, or a closely related occupation. Requires three (3) years of experience with: performing quality engineering and test automation delivery; leading large-scale QA programs; collaborating across a variety of IT and business groups, regions, roles, and levels; Database testing, ETL testing, and Data Quality testing for complex web-based enterprise applications; test automation development using Selenium Webdriver, JavaScript, and Cucumber; operating as SDET as an independent subject matter expert within an agile team; scripting and script management; SQL; relational databases; writing stored procedures, triggers, and views; Test Automation methodologies including BDD, and Data Driven; API test automation using Java or Groovy using JMeter, SoapUI, and Rest Assured; Agile based scrum teams; working in teams spread across geographies and closely tracking deliverables; project management tools and functions including JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint. Requires one (1) year of experience with: CI/CD using TeamCity, GIT, Jenkins, and JIRA.
