Global Markets Group is the offshoring arm of Morgan Stanley's Sales & Trading businesses in India. It covers functions across IED and Fixed Income Division (FID) ranging from those associated with sales, trading, analytics, strats to risk management.

Primary Responsibilities

Morgan Stanley Electronic Trading ("MSET") is a global leader in equity and derivatives electronic trading. The role is based out of Mumbai and requires working within the COO group covering across Europe Commission Management and Client Selection Committee (CSC) teams. The role will require a fast-learning, dynamic, pro-active, and self-motivated person to assist the team in maintaining, tracking, and analyzing client/business profitability.

The expected working hours will be 11:00 am (local time) to 8:00 pm (local time).

The key elements of the role are -
  • Interactions tracking and analysis: Producing client interactions reports to identify resource consumption and identifying under-over serviced clients.
  • Revenue/ Resourcing Analysis: Prepare regular and ad hoc revenue/resource analysis for senior management highlighting revenue performance, under/over resourced clients.
  • Payments Analysis: Analyzing payments and identifying key highlights and trends for sales and senior management.
  • Rate change approval workflow: Impact analysis due rate changes and managing the approval workflow.
  • Coordinating/ managing commission rates setup: Managing commission rates and handling various queries.
  • Client Tiers: Maintaining and updating client tiers on the system.
  • Other tasks: Monitoring and managing new user approvals, resource usage and working with various team for pricing requests, raising invoices, and working on Corp Access pricing.
  • Client Selection Committee: Help manage and co-ordinate the client selection committee process for the EMEA MSET & HT desks across Cash and Listed Derivatives.

Skill set required:

We are looking for a confident and outgoing person, who has exceptional attention to detail and is proactive in taking initiative. Successful candidates will have a proven work experience analyzing data.
• Graduate (BCOM/BMS) with 0-2 years of experience.

Strong analytical skills, Attention to detail, Team oriented and Problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written & spoken English; Excellent business writing skills.
• Knowledge and experience in the Finance industry preferred.
• Excellent telephone skills (regular phone contact with teams required)
• Advanced knowledge and extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with databases, and the ability to analyse data.
• Strong analytical skills
• Teamwork
• Problem solving
