Assist in the redesign and transformation of the money movement platform. Analyze business processes, functions, and procedures across multiple business units. Conduct data analysis, reporting, and migration efforts as a part of the Firm's platform transformation. Create user stories for business and functional requirements, including workflow, business rules, and use cases. Design business intelligence tools and dashboards to show project KPIs. Assist data consumers and development teams by taking on data research/analysis tasks and answering questions about the data. Work with the project team and business to identify and resolve issues that arise during projects or as part of day-to-day business operations. Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $147,290 and $147,290 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements:
Requires a Master's in Financial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field of study and Two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years as a Business Analyst; Finance Technologist; or related occupation in the technology field. Requires two (2) years of experience with: Agile development practices and user story writing using JIRA; creating user, system, and message flow diagrams using MS Visio; creating screenshots user experience diagrams using SnagIt; documentation using Confluence; data analysis and visualization using MS Excel and SQL; creating test case scenarios and test cases to support engineering; creating user maps and flow diagrams; creating design documentation and interactive status flow maps; user story mapping and traceability matrix creation; generating user experience tests and gathering user experience data to influence product behavior; creating data and relationship mapping sheets; conducting JAD sessions to understand user behavior and capture requirements; APIs and reviewing and testing Request-Response combinations using Swagger; performing Shift Left testing; conducting refinement sessions to review and formalize Acceptance Criteria for a User Story and provide estimates in terms of Story Points; and using Splunk to review application logs and triage defects.
