Within Private Wealth Management the Account Management Team (AMT) has four distinct functions: AMT AML Risk, Client Account Opening, Client Account Maintenance and Projects.
About the Role
This role will support the Head of AMT and the AMT Management Team Leads in HK, Singapore and Australia with implementing process efficiencies to improve the rate of new account onboarding and post onboarding activities. This will include a front to back review of the account onboarding process and post onboarding process; providing solutions to streamline both processes and implement initiatives to improve the volume of new accounts onboarded to PWM.

Duties and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have Big 4 or Consulting experience within the financial services industry. Private Banking or client lifecycle management experience at another top-tier Bank is also an advantage.
- Establish project scope and define business needs with stakeholders.
- Lead front to back process review of new account opening and post onboarding for PWM clients, including mapping project timeline and path to execution.
- Identify new account opening and post onboarding process improvements, synergies and enhancements and present recommendations
- Manage and undertake end-to-end project tasks including requirement analysis/documentation to implementation support
- Collaborate with stakeholders in PWM Asia and PWM Australia on new account onboarding and post onboarding enhancements and implementation status
- Develop KPIs to measure current state and impact of enhancements on improving new account onboarding and post onboarding process
- Evaluate project performance post implementation and resolve any issues with stakeholders
- Maintain project plans and governance, including tracking and deliverables monitoring.
Requirements
- Strong project management, analytical and organizational skills.
- Experience conducting client lifecycle management process reviews
- Confident interacting with senior stakeholders, including experienced process owners and subject matter experts
- Experience in Agile development practice, Lean Methodology, Design Thinking or User Centered Design is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and a solution focused mindset. Experimental and flexible.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
- Knowledge of KYC documentation, private wealth management, industry regulations and best practices highly desirable.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent education or experience.
- 10+ years plus relevant working experience in the financial services industry.
- Ideally with previous experiences in KYC within a top-tier bank.
- Fluent in English.
