In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Analyst level position level position within the Core Services function.

What you'll do in the role:

> Supporting new firm reclaims and request for information processes, including co-ordination of queries across multiple operations departments and partnering with senior management and legal to assess the tax implications.

> Arranging tax treatment of firm accounts held with agent banks and supporting business deals.

> Timely submission of tax documentation to custodians/tax authorities to ensure Morgan Stanley meets all transaction tax obligations in EMEA and the Americas.

> Communicating with tax authorities, internal business units and legal/tax teams regarding requests and initiatives.

> Supporting client requests with the preparation of tax related documentation to be submitted on a timely basis.

> Supporting the technology strategy to improve systemic tax processing and renovation.

What you'll bring to the role:

> Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
> High regard for attention to detail, accuracy & quality
> Ability to grasp detailed concepts quickly
> Able to collate, present & critically analyse data
> Provide information on impact & risk associated with work
> Comfortable with high volume data analysis
> Highly committed, dynamic & self-motivated with professional outlook
> Has flexible outlook & willing to adapt to the changing needs of the department/market.
> 6 months - 1 year relevant experience would be suitable for this position, ideally in a tax/asset services/settlements environment
